It's a violin made out of a violin and other random parts that we could find in the machine shop. This was made as a science project in 8th grade. The original concept was to mimic the ones made for the Landfillharmonic, but I had to add a different music topic to it, so I talked about how playing an instrument effects the brain. So I then researched it and came up with the conclusion that playing an instrument helps with brain memory, executive function, and make lasting positive impacts even if you don't play for your whole life. Now it is better if you keep up with the instruments to ensure the impacts, plus if you play something like piano or guitar, then it's a great party trick. Below is a video of the Landfillharmonic (http://www.landfillharmonicmovie.com/) and my research paper.
